 Carlo Micheli : Saxes and flute

He graduated in 1992 from the Music Conservatory “G. Rossini” in Pesaro. During the summer of 1995 at the Umbria Jazz Festival, he took part in Clinics at the Berklee School where he received different awards and was appointed Leader of the Berklee Band-Clinics Award Group. Since 1992 he has been teaching Saxophone, Ensemble music and Jazz Improvisation in different schools of music in Rome and its surrounding areas. He has performed in many music ensembles in collaboration with some renowned Italian musicians, playing different musical genres such as Blues, Dance, Jazz, Soul and Rock. He participated in concerts with a symphony orchestra and Big Band Jazz. Carlo Micheli has collaborated as an arranger and saxophonist both in the recording industry and through live performance with lots of artists like Vittorio Nocenzi, Max Giusti, Tullio De Piscopo, Fiorello, Rita Pavone, Fiorella Mannoia, Dario Ballantini, Claudio Baglioni e Gianni Morandi. He performed with national and international artists as Giorgia, Elisa, Tony Bennett, Michael Buble, Tony Hadley and many others. Since 2009 he has been touring Italy with the “Fiorello Show”.

Silvano Melgiovanni: Piano

Pianist, composer, arranger, classical piano studies with maestro f. germani harmony and jazz improvisation studies with rita marcotullicollaborations with various Italian and international artists such as: Billy Preston, Randy Crawford, Solomon Burke, Alex Britti, Renato Carosone, Nini Rosso, Patty Pravo,  Formula 3, Positive Power. Music composer of theatral comedy :  libero libero by gigi proietti, rodolfo lagana –  “i guardiani dei porci” by giampiero ingrassia”.

Stefano Cesare: Double Bass

Born in Rome on September 19h 1960 and raised  musically in the ‘70’s , he was influenced by the scene of that period, (progressive rock, jazz-rock, italian folk, Brasil) until the  half of the decade when, while playing self teached electric bass with his brother Fabrizio, a keaboard player, he began to be interested to jazz and started to study double bass at Testaccio Popolar School of Music of Rome with Bruno Tommaso.In the ‘80’s jazz was his main interest  and work (among the others he gigged with Massimo Urbani, Irio De Paula, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Karen Jones, Joy Garrison and Paolo Fresu) along with attending for a brief period  Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro, again with B. Tommaso. Rediscovering his early influences he begin in the’90’s melting them with the yet maturated jazz experience and start in ’95 a strong collaboration with american percussionist Karl Potter (world music) that lasts till today while playing and recording with him and many others, to name a few: Alessandro Girotto’s Sinenomine,Gianluigi Trovesi, Fulvio Maras, Pilar,Paolo Cerrone,Toni Germani,Alice Claire Ranieri,Ascanio Celestini, Margarida Guerreiro, Worldream,Antonello Salis, Claudio Santamaria ….At the same time he made some tour (abroad) with  pop artists Nini Rosso and pursued teaching in music schools.
